The Path

The Path

A Poem by Tony
"

Which path would you take!

"
A traveller came to a crossroads with two paths.
Unsure of the best way to go,
he asked himself what each path would offer.

The first path would be filled with leisure
and self-gratification.
It would be an uncomplicated,
repetitive journey with many rest stops
along the way.
With no visible hazards,
there would be no struggle!

The second path would be filled with trials
and tribulations.
It would be treacherous in places
with many obstacles along the way.
It could also be rewarding.
It would be a journey of self-discovery!

The traveller still undecided,
asked himself which path
would give the most satisfaction in life.

After some thought,
the traveller decided to take the path
which best suited him
and went on his way.
Never to be seen at the crossroads again!

Nicely done Tony !

Isn't it amazing that despite the first path being the logical choice, most of us would go for the second.

Tells you something about the human psycho. Perhaps that's the reason we needed an imperfect world.
