Sometimes people are too chicken to call out the truth that everyone can see. That's my thoughts on this elephant in the room. Because the truth is deeper than what's on the surface. It's like a brain teaser, this one...

It is about truth and about hiding - you got it in one. Its also about using metaphor to avoid the truth or to sugar coat it. Thats why the metaphors are put in a smoothie maker and blended and mixed, so they can't work properly.

Only tangentially related: A stranger once told me, without any discernible lead-in, that he had no objection to men accepting lap dances from elephants--providing those recipients possessed the constitution to enjoy it.
