We Can Dance

We Can Dance

A Poem by The Cunning Linguist
"

Romantic erotica....

"
I close my eyes and in the darkness; you are all I see,
I call you clothing, food and shelter; you are all I need,
your nickname's oxygen cause darlin you are all I breathe,
I'm selfish and don't give a f**k since you are all for me.

You drag race through my dreams like Freddy Krueger in reverse,
my nose won't get no longer cause the truth is in this verse,
or stanza; we can dance to any song that you desire,
our passion is like music burning hot and strongly; fire.

Those n****s aint do right by you so f**k em; 6 o'clock,
and that's straight up and down, I know what ways to hit your spot,
The Cunning Linguist aint my name for nuthin; inuendo,
a not so subtle dig at how my tongue'll bend you in though,

and make your body groove along with mine; oh we can dance,
with visions of us in The Westin cause of weekend plans,
I know the way I spit this flow'll have you leakin AND,
I'll lick all on your Tattoo; maybe then you'll see the plan,

my bad I meant Da Plane bossette see you and I are high,
when spewin that astronomy there be no guy like I,
a f****n ghetto Shakespeare paintin words like Vince Van Gough,
I never lend my ear to all these turkeys; Istanbul.

Regardless of the lingo of you giving me a chance,
to demonstrate the finer points of mystery; romance,
are not just words on TV; even if green people land,
we'll let our music circle all around us; we can dance.

Author's Note

The Cunning Linguist
This piece was just a little sumthin that I wrote for my girlfriend. We had a bet that I couldn't write a poem for her in 10 minutes or less....she lost.
