I Sense Something

I Sense Something

A Poem by Revolutionary

I couldn't feel it
when you split my vision
and made me see things that never were.
I couldn't smell it
when you filled the room
with the aroma of stifeling words
I couldn't taste it
when you left hatred on my tongue
and I could not spit it out.
I couldn't hear it
when the silence left by you
was screaming at me loud
I couldn't stop it
from becoming the last sense
I knew as truly you.
I couldn't feel it
touching me with love
that we never knew
But I could see it
Blinding both of us
into a false sense of love.
Yes I could see it!
Can You?

I thank him through whom I stopped by to read this. I read and reread it several times to get a clear view.what I could conceive was that of a person blinded to deceit, through a cover cleverly woven . and at last you are able to see through it all.however poetry is all about keeping it under wraps and you did it wonderfully!bravo!

nice way to come in the backdoor, you point builds slowly and it isnt to the last line that it is revealed.

Good to read your words again. I like the desire and the directness of this poem. Sometime being kind doesn't work.
"Yes I could see it!
Can You?"
Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
