As The Mississippi Passes

As The Mississippi Passes

A Poem by Revolutionary
"

A tribute to the people who stare and do nothing. It is time to stop the tyrany

"

I have never witnessed a more dispicable scene

of robbing Peter to pay Paul!

The worst part is the acceptance

when we all should be apalled!

Flooding vital farmland

to save Metroppolis

wreaks of corruption so foul

it can not be dismissed!

Blow the levee!!!

Blow them all!!!

We won't let you rebuild!

Drown the farmland,famish man.

Deny us proper yield!

Right now we all must be well fed,

and imune to our countrymens fate.

Till FEMA draggs you from your bed,

and it's mandatory to evacuate.

As you drive away with the few things

they gave you time to cherrish,

you become part of the suffering.

Do you see now how your countrymen perrish?

We are being destroyed by a twisted design

designated to starve the masses.

Our chance of salvation is floating away

As The Mississippi Passes!

Can feel the rightful anger in this. What things can be done to help? Is there a website you can post so we can learn more?

Agreed, we need to stand together. I've seen who gets the government money and help, and it surely isn't to the farmers or any average person...but the banks and big businesses get our hard earned tax money and they have plenty money to spare. Our government appears to be run by big corporations.

There is something even bigger going on here and I think it has to do with climate change due to all the excess carbon dioxide in the air...and again, our government does nothing because it will hurt the profits of the big businesses.

It is time to protest, it is time to do something, anything, the government is going too far in taking away our freedoms and making choices that benefit the fiew, and most of us stand divided by things such as religion and political party.

Nice poem!

when i did a working vacation in new orleans, there were hundreds of construction rip off artists down there trying to cash in on all that government money...it was a sad scene and wanted to take a 2 x 4 to some of them

A prose witch begs to be read and willing to scream for the right to help as humanity sometimes does, a well written piece, well done
