Sheeple

Sheeple

A Poem by Revolutionary

Ashes build a colony

of fleshless exposed souls.

Inferno's ravage establishments

leaving emperors with no clothes.

Demons claim their divinity

turning holly water evil.

Deviance is playing God

to calmly grazing sheeple.

To form an immaculate member,

of a flock of sheep, one must,

above all be a sheep.

Be a sheep that one might trust.

Another sheeple claims the fire.

Embers of blind loathing.

A wolf in his disguise.

An emperor in sheeps clothing.

I like the vision and the point made in this poem.
"To form an immaculate member,
of a flock of sheep, one must,
above all be a sheep."
No weakness in this thought provoking poetry. I like the ending to the excellent poem.

Good piece about an important topic; you raise an interesting point about having to become a conformist before the others will trust and revere you...
I like how "embers" and "emperor" form an internal rhyme.
Strong imagery throughout.

p.s. Think I spotted a couple of typos - hopefully my standardised grammar habits don't make me a sheeple (just an evil prescriptivist lol):
"holly water" (holy?)
"in sheeps clothing" (sheep's)
"Inferno's ravage" (if this is a plural, infernos doesn't need an apostrophe - I know it looks weird though)

"immaculate member," (personally I'd omit the comma here, just a suggestion)
