Maze of Recognition

Maze of Recognition

A Poem by Tracie Skarbo

Two ships passing

On the seas visage

Tip and sway

With currents strength

Although we are separate

Entities, we share

Like minds

Like hearts

We step into

Realms torch

Reaching out for

What we desire

Knowing that time

And space

Mock us and our carnal

Needs

Yet we linger

Hoping to break

The barriers

Between us

Dance with me

In the dark

Amongst flames

Of heated light

Whisper to me

Of your hearts calling

Let me fall within

The emotions of your soul

What mazes of recognition

Do you see within my eyes reflection?

I wonder if they betray

My fervor

Although I cannot feel your touch

I am there

With you

There is no question, no hesitation

Between the binary codes

Amongst nodes and servers

My lifeline is tied

So I can swim towards you…

ohh mee, what beauty this was..this was so lovely i just swollowed the words and meaning..i swear
I almost did see that sea you talked about and those two ships going different ways and swayed
we go different ways ,the current strong..though we are separate but we share
my mind your heart and we reach out..i am not afraid
yes time and space always laughed at us but who cares
we will stay and break through it all..and we dance
dark be it or light..its our heated night..no one ever sees
and you whisper to me of your heart needs
let me fall ,let me fall to it all and sink into your soul
do you see what my eyes say..surely they do betray me
i could not see you but knew you where there
past all codes ,nodes and servers,my life destined and tied
wish i could swim to you..i know i could..
God what loveliness..what a heavenly write
i was reading and i raced through the words..its magic ..really it is..and breath taking
lovely write..

Now this is true love.......

" Between the binary codes
Amongst nodes and servers
My lifeline is tied
So I can swim towards you…"

What lucky man prey tell deserves a love so grand?
Well like always you have brought a smile to my face.

Thanks for being such a good friend.

Only you could write such sweet, passionate lines and make them read logically yet sincerely ..

It is a wonderous way to find love. Unbeckoned, unknown and untouched. Still the fire burns and the connection strengthens across the miles.

Two ships, of course...

Beautifully written.

Very beautiful, heartfelt and deep. I like the transition from sea vessels to beings together to binary codes. excellent.

An admission along with blatant facts, all spun with silk and tied with twine. It is almost as if you dreamed of Reality, observing love's intermittent doldrums though gossamer goggles. Nicely penned.

this is so beautiful!
it's passionate and i really like how you used the metaphors of ships!
the sea really does relate....it ties everyone in the world together, yet it tears and separates us....it can be calming and beautiful, and it can be stormy and destructive
This poem is absolutely wonderful! probably one of the best i've read on here!!
Great job!
