For Mum

You are the life of my heart

You are the breath of my soul

You are the infinite of my spirit

You are the beauty of my being

You are my Mum

You will always lift me up

Take me to the highest mountain

You mould my life as a pure fountain

Springing up with new life

You will always give me hope and love

Giving me joy like the morning dove

 *

I look to you when I am down

Within your spirit I have peace

You lift me off the ground

To the beauty which is you

You will take me to your high place

There I will see you face to face

You are the sweetness of all life

You are a blessing to my heart

For it is with you all things start

With you I am strong

With you I will sing your new song
