Lady in The Moonlight

Lady in The Moonlight

A Poem by Trikius
"

Can you see her in your mind? Can you smell the flowing curls of her hair in the wake of the morning? Can you feel the never ending curves of her body in your hands? Who is this dream of the night, this one bright star in a pitch black night? She is the beat of my heart, the breath in my chest. Her love is a ship without dock that sails forever. It is in her touch that you will find everything needed for life, it is in her love that you will find yourself.
The man lucky enough to find this angel of grace is the envy of us all. Her light will guide his path when the darkest of nights is upon us. As she lies in his sight his eyes are filled with more beauty then a endless sunset on a beach in heaven. The thought of loseing his love is a thought that is unthinkable for he would rather die a million deaths then for her to suffer once in life. So again I ask who is this dream of the night, who is the lady in the moonlight?

I particularly loved this stanza and of course the rest of this enigmatic
poem about the mysterious lady that no doubt many men dream about.
She sounds quite too good to be true!! Well done and once again
I enjoyed your write. ~ Helena

I can't tell you who the lady in the moonlight is. Mostly for the reason I believe she exists like moonlight, ever fleeting. Sometimes obscured by clouds, or missing from the landscape all together. Unattainable in only the briefest circumstances--guaranteed to disappear in time.

"Her love is a ship without dock that sails forever." I think this supports that idea.

I don't know if you intended this, but in my own way that's how I saw your poem ^^.
