Red and White

Red and White

A Poem by Trixxxx

Red and white.

Is where we collide;

Somewhere between an unexpected ride,

Is a story of fate we never knew we’d write.

Red and white.

In between broken hearts and solid white lies;

A bucket full of tears some pair of eyes cried.

Between feelings that may have lasted but died;

Is a solace I’ve found in a high amount of price.

Red and white.

Thwarted feelings I began to hide.

Afraid my heart won’t suffice yours;

And immediately, you’ll be in flight,

But, all I want to say is please just stay by my side.

Red and white.

I died.

I lied.

I decide.

We tried.

Here you are miles away but with a beating heart,

No one can keep us apart.
