The Stars, Moon, Sky

The Stars, Moon, Sky

A Poem by Trixxxx

Staring at the sky,

I was hoping for a starry night.

But, no stars had caught my sight,

I keep on searching for that one star that never appeared.

As stars had hidden beneath the clouds.

All I see was the moon,

And its ever shining glow,

That I began to stare at immensely,

As it gives a gleam of light,

Even if the stars failed to show.

Tomorrow awaits the sun,

That was lost at sight when night begins to fall.

As it rises to bring glimmers of hope,

When its golden rays radiates during the day.

And for a moment the moon nor the stars was forgotten.

People are like stars, moon, and sun.

They keep on searching for the stars,

When the moon was never out of sight.

And when the sun came the stars was no longer to mind.

For people forget that when the sun rises it also sets.

We keep on praying for the star to come,

Or for the sun to stay,

But, we failed to notice the moon,

Who was always there right from the start.
