One Magical Night

One Magical Night

A Poem by Horse of a Different Color

When i am in your presence I turn to jello,
There is no other place in the world that makes me happier.
The simple sight of your flowing hair,
Draping it slightly over your shoulder.
Your eyes, So inviting and deep.
A black dress that was simply stunning,
Everything together is fit for a princess.
To which you are nothing less,
The smile, Your look, and then a dance.
It took my breath away,
More than a month later and i am still gasping for air.
Yet it is nothing more than a memory for my lifetime.
