So Happy I Could Die

So Happy I Could Die

A Poem by Nosyt
"

This is supposed to be a kind of satire poem on being crazy in love. By crazy I mean delusional and insane.

"
So my car just got towed,
The IRS just took all of the money I owed,
Leaving me with nothing I originally bestowed,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die.

I just received my term grades,
Along with a statement the University had made,
Apparently you can’t stay in school with such a low GPA,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die.

Remember when I got wasted that night,
I guess I pissed off my best friend when we got in that fight,
And he’s decided he’s done with me, in hindsight,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die.

Ohh and that night I “resisted arrest,”
Now there are more people who contest,
So hopefully no jail time or anything……….at best,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die.

Just got off the phone with my boss,
And he wasn’t that beat up about their recent loss,
Catching me with that weed in the back made me easy to toss,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die

My dog just got hit by a car,
I left the door cracked ajar,
He didn’t get very far,
But it’s ok, I’m so happy I could die.

I guess this is some pretty bad s**t,
But there’s one constant through out all of it,
You being by my side and never wanting to quit,
With you, I’m so happy I could die.

It’s 2012,
The Mayan’s were right and Earth is about to bail,
Crumbling and imploding into it’s own hell,
But it’s ok, because I’m so happy I could d……………………………….............
