Notes to me.

Notes to me.

A Poem by Alister Blain
"

I hope I read this when I grow up... So many dreams to follow, so many battles to win.

"
Old me,
how's life there?
Is serenity thou friend?
Is there anyone for thee to care?

Old me,
did my dreams become reality?
Did I lead a "happily ever after"?
Was all enjoyed by thee?

Old me,
Were my parents pleased
of all that I did?
Were they proud of me before they deceased?

Old me,
even if nothing good happened,
even if thou failed me,
remember,
thou younger self has faith in thee.

Alister Blain
This poem is close to my heart.
Written to my old self I am asking him whether that what I wanted came true.
