Word and the Five Senses

Word and the Five Senses

A Poem by Twilight Dancer
"

Word = Thought = Stimulation

"

Sight, Sound, Taste, Smell, Touch

Blue skies.

Clap of thunder.

Peaches sweet and juicy.

Skin glistening with sweat.

Lips soft, sensual, and full

Beneath the blue skies we lay;

In the distance is the clap of thunder.

We continue to feed each other the peaches, sweet and juicy.

Our skin glistens with sweat from the mounting passion,

Your lips – soft, sensual, and full – touch my lips.

We unite in a fusion of sight, sound, taste, smell, and touch.

And new words, thoughts, and stimulation are born,

Bringing forth a kaleidoscope of colors.

This is a great piece. I love that it is seductive and sensual but not vulgar or disgusting. I also loved the way you used imagery as passion Exploding as sights and sounds. Great write.

I absolutely love this piece! The way you introduce each initial thought & its progression to completion lends an effectual influence to the whole. It's romantic, soft and sensual.

Nicely done...

Tasty! I'm not crazy about the color usage but the structure inspired me to read this three times. Well done.

"Word = Thought = Stimulation"

I had never thought of that!

Okay you accomplished this: Excellent descriptions that make me stimulated!

Makes me want to eat a peach on a romantic picnic! (and I don't even LIKE peaches!)

Great Job! :)

Mmmm this is just some FANTASTIC imagery. Even without the colored words at the beginning, the words take on a life and color of their own. This is a fantastic piece, Rebekah! Thank you for sharing this with me!!

Warm words whether written or recited by others are the
avenue to passion, considered by all as vital. I can almost
hear your words being recited by your readers. They are
a blend of love, caring and consideration. I will find a time
to recite them myself.

Interesting format. I love the use of senses in a piece, and you did an excellent job getting them all in. The lines at the beginning are an intriguing choice. Very unusual poem. Well written.

I like how the theme of the coloured lines thread their way through the body of the poem. Passionate and a feast for the senses! Julian
