Time's Course

Time's Course

A Poem by lauren emily
"

Just to kind of show how we really don't have any control over time

"

Rushing

Pulling

Reaching

Screeching

Falling through an open door

Sliding

Gliding

Present

Past

Or all of time is held still

Then given to you in a blast.

Slowly

Coming

Snail-like

Pace

For we are impatient to finish life's race.

It will burn or it will brush

It will sting

Or it will tease

But time will go at its own pace

For it is not here to please.

I like this! Very profound really...

time can work in our favor, or against us,
depending on what we do with it. :) Truly...

Great job Lauren!!

Time is never here to please. It's sudden and it will tick the way it likes, we never have a say in it.

Sometimes its pleasant, sometimes its not, but it's always there.

Great write
