Drowning

I have absolutely no idea what I was writing when I wrote this. I just began to write things and-well-this is what I got in the end.

Emotions drown me

stealing my sanity

taking away logic

These feelings drag me

deep into unknown waters

I can't breath

I'm being pulled under

Fear slithers through me

This is unexpected

I try to swim towards the bright light

but my legs seem frozen

and the light fades into nothingness

My body aches for something that

can not be found

Air

I sink slowly

losing consciousness

My body goes numb

Darkness arrives.

This point isn't pointless at all I feel some feelings behind this poem.sometimes when things go wrong and we feel alone and are emotions can drag us down to a dark place at times.we want things to be over so you see a light when your legs get frozen it wasn't your time.in life theres so much to have to deal with even if its hard or horrible but to run isn't the answer we need to face reality head on in order for change to take place.when things in my life are bad i pray to the lord to take this problem that i have and help me cause theres nothing i can do and when i truely let it go he helps me to.

I like this piece, i can relate to it. So often our emotions get the best of us and we drown in them before learning how to cope with them.

Sometimes great writing comes from nothing. Your word usages is very good and it read well. I usually find if you re-read something later that made no sense when you wrote it you can find a deeper meaning your subconcious was trying to portray.
