A Poem by lauren emily
"

This isn't supposed to be a haiku or anything...it's just something I thought of and thought I'd write it down before I lost it. haha

"

I stared into water

hoping to see anything

but nothing did I see

I notice that many of your poems indicate that they are unfinished - - and that is good! It means that you believe in work and improvement, revision and editing. Would that more writers would not just dash something off and forget it. No-one gets it right the first time every time. I like your approach. Thank you for reviewing my 'Spring' piece. It was not written to be mysterious but I think I can see what you mean. One of the joys of poetry - we each see the words through different eyes. Thank you. I see a bit of John Betjeman in Spring. I am sure you would enjoy him.

Short, but intense. I love it.
