Someone in Space

Someone in Space

A Poem by UC Poika
"

The sky and that which comes through it is not really all that real and actually just an illusion, but existence, love, hate, fears, cheers, things like that are what's real.

"

Under this sky where the sunlight and clouds,

Nighttime and stars appear to many to be too . . .

Given to every seeing eye in the crowds

Even the blind believe it to be a clue.

But to us it's clear all of the way to the ground

Where the unsighted perhaps see what is real.

But being unable to see what's truly there to be found

They know truth as not that they see or feel

But rather that which cannot be known as true

Or really real like existence or love or fears,

For what does it matter if this sky is blue

Should love perish and only hate bring cheers?

Am I alone just because I think so?

Even in space there had to be someone . . . you know?
