Did Someone Say Free Enterprise?

Did Someone Say Free Enterprise?

A Poem by UC Poika
"

Exactly what the title says its about something that don't exist, not in America anymore.

"

A still night and no revenue or stash

Mustache and beard hanging close to the fire,

Knowing this will all be illegal like having real cash.

There will be professional emails and poets for hire.

Everything you can do is for sale by the pros;

They don't do it better, they just pay the fee.

The worst thing that happened I would suppose . . .?

An American made something that was free

And it remained free from rich men to tax

Or otherwise regulate or control as their own.

Would it just happen to be thievery to the max

When they start reaping what we all have sewn?

No way to say with free speech the way it is now

If you say it straight they can't comprehend that somehow.

An Indian friend before there were any Native Americans--we taught them well-- said it best. You know I never really knew what a forked tongue was until I met a white man.
