mindful soliloquies

mindful soliloquies

A Poem by eli mercuree rue

And then you crept
Deep inside
And laid your apex
On the vertex of my cortex
A cerebral climax
Aching
Awakening
Spines
As mindful soliloquies
Danced from your heart to mine
Emotional guards committing
Suicide
As time reached its end

Our love watching its bittersweet demise

And your smile is infinity
And your hips, those hips
Against mine rocking and begging
And your breath
Erecting the hairs on my neck
As it chases my blood to my heart
I just dont know where id start
If i had to begin again

Because

You picked me up in medias res
And did not question what brought
Me to you
