Short instances, when there is a fleeting thought in my chaotic mind which I believe signifies something and I decide to pen it down.

My fragments, lay scattered

Like the infinite stars above

Under this unfathomable cosmos

I was a mere remnant

Of stardust

A soul, dragging through time

Watch my embers burning away

Wow! so wonderfully expressed - the sense of connection with an infinity of stars and the contrasting sense of separation as star-dust, the awareness of mortality, - like the embers burning away - 'a mere remnant'.
