Falling

Ive fallen you could say for guy...and I wrote this for him tho he will never see it I thought maybe I could put it up here. Enjoy.

 

 

Falling for someone,

Is like giving away a key,

That literally unlocks everything,

All your secrets and insecurities,

And anything that you've never told,

Are ready to unfold,

 Its giving someone the power,

To hurt you in the biggest way,

But trusting them not too.

Its when your promised nothing but love and Happiness,

But is given smiles and at times Hopelessness,

When you give up what you want,

For someone you think your needing,

And they promise to not be misleading,

When your Crazy in the head,

And its only love being bled,

And their name is on your heart,

Cause it will fade on paper written with lead,

  Falling for someone is when you take

the flaws and the pros,

And you love them from the bottom of your Soul.

wow. that was really great. all the analogies were perfect, and i could completely relate. i'm going through the same thing right now. i liked how you highlighted important words. it just made it even cooler. really, this was awesome. i think you have serious talent! and even though some people say that it should be easy to write poetry if you real feel it, i completely disagree! because you said this took you hours and its still awesome. really great! Wow really made me speechless it was very cute and enjoyable. And for me it was VERY relatable I have been falling for a guy a lil while now maybe i will tell him. Because this poem reminds me of how much I love this kid but i guess taking a chance on hoping someone wont hurt you is very big too
