A Poem by ~Unashamed Love~

After the sweetest crooked smile

And the softest kiss, you left

Me, delusional and sick

You, unaware of your theft.

The way your finger touched my cheek

Made me believe that it was true

But all it takes to make me smile

Is an illusion made of dew.

Wishful thinking brings me down

But for a second I did hold

The purest love that ever was

And I woke up alone and cold.
