A Poem by Ed

a poem about people doubting

no one by my side
all the energy I needed

 written in black and white
memories throwing stones

 at me

  The story of my life

Didn't think I'd make a mess of things
weight of the scales,

What was doesn't work anymore

 past locked doors.

with the direction my life taking

Didn't want life behind the glass.

The stage faded

and for a moment so did the past

although the taste of tears that remain

now an emptiness, a debt to pay

past nothing special

past nothing new

the corruption of my life

never I could,

Echo of words

Of all the times I was told

learn something worth while

learn something new

than what leaves me

Empty with holes

examples of ways

From this I learn

and make it out

of what remains

 old news.

maybe I'll learn something more than being vain
something new
besides pain.
I liked these lines. You really express your emotions well.
