plain sight

plain sight

A Poem by Ed

when younger

  everything was fine like wine
couldn't see the difference of simplicity

 plain sight

the world changed and I couldn't notice what was right.
as time passed fire and cold

 cycled out of control

 the splendor of comfort

 warmth, breeze, wind

  presence of water
stillness was no longer in my recollection

 old patterns, prenotions, pretensions.

 coherence became specific
present is lived in a freed unmeasured second,
Minutes are a surprise to find meaningless
 time..   time..    tied moments
 method stood still

 always in place
 spontaneous,

sponsor and give yourself the wake up call
rehearsing loses its existance, losing runs its course.
Hiding in plain sight, clothes when no longer hiding
Odd to see what I'd look like,  jacket,  shoes, pants. and a shirt.
turns out I was never the clothes.
I wore something else, something completely different

and there was me, another person.
