A poem by "Mistress Erica (The Tragic Queen)"

"
Tears fall down on a terror-stricken face
A little girl crying for her mother's embrace
The mother mouthing "Stay in your hiding place"
The little girl does as she's told but then grabs for the mace
But it is way too late
For her mother lay dead but the stranger stays

Very frightening; it's like a scene from a horror film.
Maybe a bit short for my taste, in truth, but I guess it's a good narrative poem. :)

This was a really good piece... It flowed well and It was very tragic, Made the reader frightened for the little girls life. It made me want to know more.... You really were able to capture the scene and evoke emotions from the reader... Great Job!

I guess they don't call you the Tragic Queen for nothing. A really terrifying, blood-chilling short poem.

I thought I...I must bust be seeing things. lol

Great Poem! It reads smooth and shows a terrifying image of a little girl cowering as the evil villian has killed the mother, and left the reader fearing for the childs life.

Reminds me of a seen from Blade III

Nice Poem!
