 " Honoring A "King" "

Tis the season, to herald the birth,

Of the Christ Child...for He is worth,

More than any... gift of gold,

For all of the treasures...He does hold.

Born in a stable with nothing more,

Than the clothes, that Mary wore.

He entered a "King"...without a crown;

The crown stayed in Heaven, when He came down.

All of the angels...proclaimed their joy,

Of the birth...of this special "Boy."

Three wise men, followed a star,

Seeking the "Promised One" from a far.

Part of the world rejoiced..the birth of a "King."

But God sat in Heaven...remembering...

All that His Son, would go through,

In this world...to save me and you!

If the Father ...ever wept...with grief,

It was for the Boy...trampled under the feet;

Of the masses, and the sins of this earth.

People even denying, "His" miraculous birth.

Please...this Christmas...remember the Boy

Let Him fill...your heart with joy.

The present He wants...is the gift of your heart;

Give it all to Him...not just a part.

Give Him your best, you are honoring a "King."

A birthday worth more...than just a remembering!

Remember the poor...and the needy too...

And He will shower "His" blessings, down upon you.

Keep "Christ" in Christmas, we are honoring a "King,"

He will bless us all and make our hearts sing.

May we all enjoy Christmas, and have a Happy New Year too,

And share our lives with Christ, the whole year through!
