A Love Missed

A Love Missed

A Poem by Vampaslick

Perfectly shaped, molded, and formed,
You walk with such excellence, I adore.
A small pup drooling before your taste,
Coming to greet you in all my haste.

Eyes memorizing, smile so bright,
True beauty covers, shelters my sight.
Time spent remembering, mind echoes your name,
Finding much fun in this little love game.

But you, my dear, I do not love,
There is something not there.
My heart is missing a piece of
The one who once did care.

Forgive me for it was not meant to lead on,
This love that I miss was never truly gone.
