In the dark

I'm open

I talk

I try to communicate

But it never works

 

Im shut off from them

Im always kept at a safe distance

As to not get attached

To actually get to know them

 

Pushed aside

In the dark

Im waiting

For someone to actually care

 

There have been many who tryed

But were not real

Out of pity they helped

But of nothing more

 

I look for someone

Someone to help me

But to no avail

I linger in the dark

 

What will i do when i meet this person?

 

Will i know its them?
