The Quiet One

The Quiet One

A Poem by VelvetPotato

Quiet, Strange, Wide-eyed,
Speaks in Squeaks.
Dinky Dove,
Tender-Love,
Fragile and Meek.
The "upright," curved bone,
Void, Alone,
Flimsy and Weak.
Empty Head,
Tongue of Lead,
Vacant of Leaks.

Grandiose, Ob-noxious,
Elephant Expression.
Stream of Vomit,
"Language" some call it,
Drowning Decepticon.
Constant Chatter,
To Frustrate, Flatter,
Blanket the Ineptness.
Steam-roll,
Pushy Troll,
Listen to a Confession.

A Calculated, Shut Mouth,
Is a Vigilant, Open Ear,
Sometimes a Darting, Wide-Eye,
Gives a Context and a Clear,
An Attention to Others,
Does not make one a Baby Deer,
Words, Manners, picked like Flowers,
Not a Tsunami to a Pier.
