Darling Devil

I wrote this about my ex whom had me wrapped around his finger for over a year.

He is the demon,

Who has clipped my angel wings,

Then left me bleeding on Earth,

He is the shackles,

That holds me down in a rotting cell,

Condemned, judged, and punished,

He is the beautiful clouds,

With the darkest of nature,

Foreboding the most catastrophic of storms,

He is the icy waters of a bottomless lake,

With dark tentacles reaching for me,

Wrapping around me so tightly my bones splinter,

Then dragging me to the very depths.

He is my personal reaper,

The ward to my person Hell,

The ruler of my pain,

The holder of my shattered heart,

The cause of my broken world,

and he is the death of my soul.
