Anorexia

Anorexia

A Poem by Autumn

I breathe a little further in

Imagine my reflection thin

Wish the scale would show me I'm lighter

Would it make me feel much better?

What lies before your eyes is sure

Reflection makes your vision pure

Clear as ice but worth the price

My life becomes a roll of dice

The more you learn, the less you know

And that's the only way to go

Desire and love falsely derived

Can only be saved by what's inside

Though world's apart, friendship's your guide

When all seems hopeless, toss it inside

A rescue formed for one in need

Will soon in kind repay the deed

Find the truce, so long concealed, when

The hidden face has been revealed

As you fix what as been forgotten,

Then you'll know the truce as spoken.

I know a lot of people in my school who suffer from this disease. They are both beautiful on the inside and the out, but they don't think so.

Anyways, well written!

Very well written. I believe girls are beautiful on the outside because of how beautiful they are on the inside. If girls are very sweet and nice, then to me they will look beutaifu
