Gravity

Gravity

A Poem by Vignette

The temptation of your kiss,

an event horizon

anchored in space-time,

draws me closer.

A subtle shift…

in consciousness.

A crossed boundary…

maybe carelessness.

Escape velocity, moot.

Point of no return.

Caught in your maelstrom

of cosmic prowess.

A celestial orb,

I spend my eternity

tethered

by the gravity

of your kiss.
