Thank you

Thank you

A Poem by Grasshopper
"

A poem to my late bestfriend

"

Thank you,

I owe you one

I was broken and all alone

My hope had long gone flown

The pain worse than a broken bone

Thank you,

I owe you two

You took me in and became my glue

Even though pieces weren’t few

Bit by bit you made me new

Thank you,

I owe you three

No matter how dark the world may seem

There would always come a gleam

You gave me a reason to have a dream

Thank you,

I owe you four

You shook me to my very core

I finally regained the courage to roar

You made me desire for more

Thank you,

I owe you five

I was finally beginning to thrive

You were the ticket to feeling alive

For a future with you, I was willing to strive

So thank you,

I owe you my life

I survived the walk on the edge of the knife

I will live my life as a loving wife

And I’ll see you again in the afterlife
