The Wicked Eight

The Wicked Eight

A Poem by Vincent Vercelli
"

A poem for reading.

"

Deep within the darkest crevice

Where evil lurks and demons menace

The wicked plot their perilous plans

To spread disease across the land.

Fear and anger, lust and hate,

All four tools of the wicked eight;

Pride, anger, greed, gluttony,

lust, sloth, and envy.

But there is one more forgot,

And that is trust, more oft than not.

Good men die, or are led astray,

While evil levels all in its way.
