The Forgotten Truth

The Forgotten Truth

A Poem by Dewella~Vintella
"

Another poem consisting of two lists of words.

"
Critical teeth hang over your face in a smile its breath like that of a dog scorching your skin,
Invading your mind it sucks you into a bottle of soft darkness.
Enchanted like that of a moth to a fire you stop fighting,
a caress like roses you sigh and like a mouse in a maze you fight to win.

Whispering draws you further a person of sweet words you hold dear,
this way and that the world ablaze with the many glories of a ruler.
The passionate realm a cup made of the finest glasses filled with the sweetest temptations,
You seek for forgiveness wherever you look and through a window the answer is clear.

You cant survive outside with your broken mind,
Only the darkness can sooth each chip off your shoulder leaving you emotionally blind.

As time has changed, so have I. For a long time I thought I knew who I was and where I belonged, and for a long time I constructed myself to fit inside that mold; But it seems that much like the w.. more..
