Overdose

Overdose

A Poem by Savior knowmore

Poison slides through the needle,
Going deep into my vein.
One more dose should do the dirty deed,
And let me fall to sleep; an awakening bane.

Warm black liquid,
Moving as silently through my body like a ghost.
Slowly eating away at my mind,
So this is what they call an over-dose.

It is a feeling like no other,
With pleasure of dreamless sleep,
Mixing and flowing around painful obliteration,
As my soul flies into the Deep.
