The Gobbet

The Gobbet

A Poem by Savior knowmore

Raw and bloody flesh
Torn from living body
With large stone I must thresh
My hunger is most indeed bawdy

Blood drops on stone floor
Red joy stains my hands
Civil manners made w***e
Of this amazing delicacy none understands

My teeth gnaw and gnash
Gobbling down my victim
For dessert, fine bone ash
For more, I want a dictum

Creeping on silent foot
From Father’s bed I do approach
Down the halls, my hunger put
Your bed I encroach
