The Devil Knows

Satan himself is on his way to get you,

You probably don't believe this is true...

But I tell truth and promise you'll be scared,

If you are not then you won't be spared.

Explaining is useless. Can't hide or run away,

He knows where you are so might as well stay.

Those who have done wrong must face the pain,

And you probably think I'm being vain...

But I assure you, you will hear the sound of drums,

Then the dark will reveal that the devil comes.

Getting closer and closer. Can't run and can't hide,

All an illusion. The devil's in you, lurking inside.

All humans are evil and you will never learn,

It is clear now - You should all just burn...

You know, I was talking with the Devil just the other day, and he said that he sometimes feels misunderstood. Half the time he gets blamed for stuff other people did, and most of the rest of his evil deeds were only meant to destroy half the number of lives that ended up getting destroyed. It's not his fault things spiral out of control. Doesn't mean he don't still laugh his a*s off about it, but nonetheless.

I totally agree with you actually! :D I'v always thought basically the same thing. But this was mostly about evil inside of people that is like the bad side of the devil hence the line "All an illusion. The devil's in you, lurking inside". Although, I do know the devil isn't all the bad since he was once believe to be an angel :)

I Love this A LOT...it's dark and foreboding...Profound...as easy as we like to think we live in a black or white world...it's always in shades of gray...some times we have to be bad to do good.
