AppeasedA Poem by Samantha ~virginpoetMy brain a maze of oblivion My skin is paper thin I sulk I grieve But still no release I'm tired of this heavy weight weighing down on me This anger coated in sorrow plagues me like a disease It eats me alive like Necrotizing Fasciitis I want to crush you in my hands like the vile thing that you are I'm spinning full of ideas of all the ways I could cut you You gave my heart the gift of destruction and now I embrace the dark's cold in razor blade winds Spilling and spewing tears and blood you severed my heart from my soul Made me despise you I can feel wraith growing and over taking me It has me under its complete control As I'm struggling fighting to break through it's hold This beast is a beast on my back it will be pleased appeased Once my being is bound in poetry By Samantha Pruitt © 2014 Samantha ~virginpoetAuthor's Note
