The way it's arranged makes it look like a puzzle and I'm trying and failing to unscramble the hidden message. lol The picture you included with it is clever though.

At a glance, however, yes...when the middle one is broken, the other two usually follow suit. A very interesting piece, one that's going to keep me busy for a while.
