Oblivion

Oblivion

A Poem by Nix

Where thoughts go to fester
Where wounds go to heal
where the world is made a child's toy
Where all is but too real
Give me silence
Where desire goes to dull where beauty goes to age
Where youth goes to be forgotten
Where naive becomes sage
Give me time
Where good will goes to harden
Where ideals go to flower
Where a cat goes to die
Where a human goes to cower
Give me solitude
Give me somewhere I can think
Give me nowhere at all
Give me wonder
Give me god
Give me oblivion

Very nicely done. It plays on that forever longing for bliss, for the OZ Land we all crave and yet know not about.... very nicely done!

Destruction, death?
Or simply a place where you can blend into the scenery and be 'invisible' to escape who you are?
Either way, wonderful impact. Very much enjoyed.
