The Angel's Daughter

The Angel's Daughter

A Poem by Voice

The Angel’s

The Angel walks beside his daughter

Bringing hope to light her way

A guidance that’s never faulting

Even on her darkest days

With His wings held above her head

He protects her from the rain

And his presence dries her tears

And holds her through the pain

His warm and loving glow

Heals her broken heart

And the Angel’s daughter knows

That they will never be apart

Their time together passed so quickly

Time away passes so slow

And though his body could not stay

On his soul will go

The Angel resides in Heaven

No longer to earth He’s bound

But, the most beautiful piece of him

Was left here to be found

A child that holds his memory

A daughter that is His

And one of our Father’s greatest lessons,

That there is no stronger love than this

Dedicated to Katie Kelsey

In Memory of Dennis Allen Kelsey

This is a true story about the sweet love of a father and his daughter.
It has touched my heart.
I pray that the daughter may live in blessing of the affection and love of her wonderful
angelic father.
