Insanity

Insanity

A Poem by Ian Faraway
"

Sometimes those ideas just won't come out

"
Something pulls beneath the surface
As if some answer lies in wait
But what’s an answer
If I don’t know the question?
Is it a question of love?
Of truth?
Or the ways things are?
Or possibly the way things are not?
Reality seems so surreal
When the mind is so boggled
Almost like a passing dream
Where you have to dream to awake
Ah! If only I could find the path
To either dive deeper into the madness
In search of a truth I can never prove
Or to escape from my mind
It’s like grasping madly at air
And finding there’s none there
Suffocating on the unknown
That I seem to somehow know

Or maybe it’s there in my head
And I have yet to be able to express it
Either way, it’s insanity
