Fishing Village

Fishing Village

A Poem by Waconda Springs
"

the fewtch

"
lime wet air
wet hair
skin wet sides
of fingers
wet sides
he uses the cabbie's stink-um

look at the partner

dumb dough
eyes answer

he didn't do it
any of what
she asked
but look

look at the partner

strawed on lips
stink sweet blue

slap him dreaming
inside shorelines
and he'll find something

This gives me the feeling of daydreaming while fishing on a small boat, chum and gaping eyed fish. it's wonderful. :)
