Chapter Six- Cheers

I have luck on my side? I've crashed before riding with Manny? What the hell?

I'll be the first to admit I babble and lie when I'm nervous. And here, I was nervous for two reasons.

One, this bike wobbled like a drunkard and Jonah always leaned too low on the turns.

Two, I was riding with Jonah, and I didn't exactly mind having my bony fingers wrapped around that boy's waist.

We arrived at the cafe surprisingly quickly, and we both hopped off the bike. Jonah's muscled leg flew gracefully over the tattered seat of the motorcycle, and he had no problem lifting me up and out of the seat with incredible force for a junior in high school.

His lips pressed eagerly to my ear, feeling that hidden piercing at the top of it, and whispered to me.

"Bobbi, I have something I would like to show you."
