Calm After The Storm

Just how I been feeling lately:(

The sun was once shining.
So bright, blinding my sight.
The moon was even glowing.
Before it was even night.

Now the birds start singing.
A dreary, dreary song.
The owls stay in hiding.
Knowing something is wrong.

The storm clouds keep gathering
Rushing to pick a certain spot.
Silvery-blue rain starts pouring.
As if to say: “ forget me not!”

A rainbow sounds promising.
But when will it ever come?
In puddles I am constantly standing.
Entrapped in this storm of realism.

Want to forget about all these feelings.
Why can’t the rain just stop!
Feels like my heart has stopped beating.
Feels like I have cried my last tear drop.

All alone and left with nothing.
Frozen cold and will never be warm.
Just want to stop this hurting.
Just want to find......

The calm after the storm!

I like how this flows, I think we all have some days where we think when will this storm pass in our life. I hope your days brighten up for you and you don't feel like this for to long.

Thank you for appreciating my words. Means a lot. My life has definitely not been easy. But seems i have mastered the clean up sessions after each storm since I've been thru so many of them. However, the present storm is in a category all it's own. Let's hope I can find new ways of coping and recovering:( Thanks again:)
