Read the Signs!

Read the Signs!

A Poem by Will
"

They're crystal clear

"
Oh dear, can't you read the signs?
I made them clear, I drew straight lines!

Couldn't you tell where I was going?
You could hear the rooster crowing?

You couldn't give me a simple heads-up?
Couldn't read tea leaves from the cup?

Smoke signals, morse code, telegraph,
Couldn't you tell? Do I need a polygraph?

Yeah, I love you, I thought it was clear.
Yeah, it's true, I wanna hold you near.

I'll hand you a map, clear as day,
Hell, I'll even clear the way!

Eh, I needed to write something right now. I'm frustrated. Not the best by my own admission, so your input is greatly appreciated.

There may be frustration in this write, but there is invention and offbeat humour too! I enjoyed the read!

Thank you very much :)
I read this in the frustrated tome I think you wrote it in, Will. Sometimes people really do not see the signs we put in front of them. Best to go with the direct approach! Good penning, and for a good reason. :)

Frustrated is the best word I could think of here. It fits. Thanks, Rita!
