Bloody Roses

Bloody Roses

A Poem by WillaDanvers
"

Just random entaglements from my brain, straightened out and presented on paper.

"

Irrevocably tired,

Bored of life complete,

Wandering in thickets,

Looking for singular rose,

Sustainably filled,

Wanting nothing,

Needing so much more,

Everything, but nothing,

Weeping eyes,

Resting upon sunken cheeks,

Pale lips constant grimace,

Broken smile, one would say,

Drunk eyes,

Gazing through life,

Passing over love,

Finding only pain, death,

Cold hands,

Slipping through warm grip,

Found a painless existence,

Resistance be futile,

Weary spirit,
Bloody knuckles,

Fought so damn hard,

Lost the battle anyway.

Dark words. Looking for that singular rose and coming to terms with the fact it may stay elusive. Life without love is painful. I liked the journey you took me on. Thank you.

Hard, dark words and thoughts shared dear friend.
Drunk eyes,
Gazing through life,
Passing over love,
Finding only pain, death"
I liked the above lines and the intensed thoughts in the poetry. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Disjointed is a word I would use.

The phrase "bored of life complete" in your first stanza doesn't work given the rest.

It's very good writing, just poorly edited and put together. The order is fucked. You should re work this, it could be beautiful.
